Zulal Water Factory Hamdah

Zulal came to light under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, and Ruler of Sharjah. His vision was to provide clean, pure drinking water for all people of the Emirate. Zulal was established as the first government organization to cater to that need in 1995. It is the only water company providing 100% pure underground water straight from the Wells of Hamda.

Since 1995, the management of the Zulal Water Plant has emerged as the first public water plant to provide high-quality pure water. Zulal water is 100% groundwater extracted from Hamda wells in Sharjah. Resources are located in zero contaminated, isolated with no inhabitants within the range of 10km radius.
